Joe Taylor lives in Menai Bridge on Anglesey. He has been playing drums since he was about six years old, when he received his first proper drum kit.



Joe started playing drums at his local church when he was about 8 and has been playing there ever since.



Joe Taylor started jamming with his brother (guitarist) as soon as he could keep basic time on the drums.



He has been taking lessons since 2002 and is now taking piano lessons to help develop his theory knowledge.



Joe's biggest drumming influences at the moment are Dennis Chambers, Vinnie Colaiuta Dave Weckl, Tony Williams and Billy Cobham.



Joe Taylor was one of the finalists of the Young Drummer of the Year (YDOTY), organised by mikedolbear.com in 2005 and 2006.
