Link (real name: Joe Berlyak) has been playing for 20 years. He has toured Spain, Italy and France opening up for major acts like Dope, Drowning Pool, MSI and Mushroomhead.
Link/Joe Berlyak received his first drum lessons in 1985 from Chris Evans. In 1987 he joined the, soon followed by the high school jazz band and "Verbal Irony", a local punk band.
Several other bands followed, as well as touring through Europe.
He joined local heavy metal band 43 Phreeks in 2003. In 2004 Joe Berlyak won the Northeast Ohio's Best Drummer contest.
In 2005 he became co/founder of The Federation of Drums and Percussion, and drum instructor for A-Max Music in Akron, Ohio.
That same year Joe Berlyak/Link set the world's record for the longest double bass ever played which is no less than 24 hours.
