J.J. O'Connell the full-time drummer for The Drunk Stuntmen, The Ostrich Farm, Hospital, Kahoots, Supercart and Jaya The Cat all at one time, the free spaces in between fill up fast. And O'Connell, a two-time Grand Band Slam winner, wouldn't have it any other way. J.J. O'Connell reveils:

"I love playing music and - thanks especially to a very understanding girlfriend - I am able to play and record all of the time with some great musicians." Equally proficient in hip-hop (Ostrich Farm); rockin' blues (Kahoots); aggressive, moody pop (Hospital); punk, rock, ska and reggae (Supercart and Jaya The Cat), O'Connell's percussion skills are certainly in demand. Plus, his criteria for picking new projects doesn't exactly help his workload. O'Connell continues:

"Basically, my criteria is that I play with whoever asks me. I'm always looking to try new things, and as long as everyone involved is nice and willing to work around my situation, I'll give it a shot."
