Jesper Stromblad is a guitarists who formed melodic death metal act In Flames in 1990.

As the band lacked a proper drummer at that time, Stromblad decided to play both guitar and drums on their 1993 demo and on "Lunar Strain", their first official album. The band would find a well fitting drummer in Björn Gelotte.

Jesper played drums in Dimension Zero, In Flames and HammerFall.
