Hailing from from Ottawa, Canada, Jeremy Gara is drummer in with successful indie-rock band Arcade Fire.



Jeremy Gara is also is the principal member of Lessons. He has played in many other bands in the past, including "slow-core" band Kepler and Math rock band Weights and Measures.



Jeremy Gara also had a part in the self-titled album 'Arizona Amp and Alternator'. He is endorsed by Istanbul Agop & Alchemy cymbals.



Jeremy Gara has also been involved in the band Clark and was in the band The New International Standards along with fellow Arcade Fire members Richard Reed Parry and Tim Kingsbury.



January 2006 saw Jeremy Gara team up with Howe Gelb of Giant Sand for his album 'Sno Angel Like You'.



He recently played percussion on Owen Pallett's 'Heartland' album (Pallett being a former member and regular contributor to Arcade Fire).
