Jeff Campitelli has been a part of Joe Satriani's gang for a while now. He provided his drumming skills to such great tunes as 'Satch Boogie' and more recently, on the entire 'Crystal Planet' album. He has great timing and is great at a 5/4 tempo.



Before Joe Satriani's breakthrough in instrumental music Jeff Campitelli was with Satriani in a band called The Squares. As a student at San Ramon Valley High School, Jeff Campitelli played in the band The Rage with Tim Nichols and Barry Hogue.



Along with his drumming exploits, Jeff Campitelli has also lent his rhythm guitar and keyboard playing on tour with Joe for the Joe Satriani world tour, G3, the Crystal Planet tour and more recently on the 'An Evening With Joe Satriani' tour.



Factoid: Jeff Campitelli was selected by Rolling Stone magazine as the 50th greatest drummer of all time.
