Jean-François Richard , mostly called JF, plays in Canadian metal act Ion Dissonance. Together with Antoine Lussier and Sebastien Chaput (both guitar) he staerted the band out of a conscious experience from the various bands they had previously played in, mainly death metal and jazz bands.



Previously Jean-François Richard played in Canadian 'hyperblasters' Kataklysm as a session drummer after Max Duhamel decided to part ways with the band in Februaru 2003. Martin Maurais joined Kataklysm as Duhamel's successor.
