Jay Ziskrout was Bad Religion's original drummer between 1980-1982. He departed long time ago and was replaced by Davy Goldman.
Jay Ziskrout knew Bad Regilion's Greg Graffin & Mr. Brett (Gurewitz) really well in their mid to late teens as they all went to El Camino High School - as did Jay Bentley.
Ziskrout played with Bad Religion on the self-titled EP, released in joint between small label (at the time) Epitaph and local label Chameleon.
Ziskrout also started recording with them for the 1982 debut album, "How Could Hell Be Any Worse?", this is totally unconfirmed but I heard a rumour that when Jay quit, it was literally between recording tracks and he just said "Hey, You guys don't listen to me enough! Fuck you! I quit!".
Apparantly he just walked out and left his kit and gear in the studio.
Nowadays Ziskrout owns Grita! Records (Grita meaning "scream" in Spanish), an international punk and indie label, mostly focused on working with Spanish bands.
