Jason Vander Pal plays drums in Oil, the Long Beach, California-based Christian metal band featuring Dark Angel frontman Ron Rinehart.



Jason Vander Pal plays a huge kit with 13 drums, 18 cymbals, and a full chrome cage that goes about 270 degrees around him.



Jason played jazz for several years before dedicating himself to heavy music. Jason is super aggressive and he utilizes each piece of his kit to the full extent.



Jason is the newest member of Oil and did not play on the mini CD, but did record on the full-length CD, Refine.
