Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jason Schwartzman is both actor and musician. He plays drums andmallets, but also starred in Rushmore, and Shopgirl. Since then, Schwartzman has played in I Heart Huckabees and Bewitched.



Jason Schwartzman's former band, Phantom Planet, provided the theme song “California” for The OC.



More recently Schwartzman returend as a musician with his solo prject Coconut Records
