Drummer and percussionist Jacob D. Vera is an indepent artist. Trained musician, teacher, performer, and recording artist Jacob Daniel Vera is accomplished in a wide range of musical styles.
Jacob Vera has had the opportunity to teach for more than eight years to students of all skill levels, from beginning to advanced, in private studios and private institutions. Jacob has motivated each student to aspire to their full potential.
Jacob Daniel Vera is a professional drummer originally from Mexico. He began his drumming career at the age of 10, and at 12 moved to Los Angeles with his family. With a broad range of influences, Jacob has a unique style that is versatile and adaptable while remaining tight and punchy. His ability to learn quickly and maintain a strong groove has ensured a variety of different studio and live projects throughout The United States.
Jacob Vera gigs with numerous bands and records with a variety of artists, and once you witness his dynamic stage persona, you can understand why he is in such demand. His energy drives his groove, which is ultimately immersed in funk, Latin, Jazz with a rich texture and soulful feel. Jacob’s performances are guaranteed to be surprising and intriguing to watch and whilst mastering any given style, he maintains his unique character and personality.

Along with his strong work ethic, Jacob Vera’s passion for drumming and music in general have made him an integral part of any project he has been involved in as a drummer.
Currently Jacob is in the process of finishing his dvd as a soloist and has couple albums recordings coming out this year.
