Jack Puijker was the original drummer in Dutch "theater metal" rockers Cirrha Niva. He joined the band in August 1991. The line-up then operated under the moniker of Requiem. In February 1993 the band rename themselves in Cirrha Niva. That same month they recorded Cirrha Niva's first demo suitably entitled 'Alighieri's roots'.
After several demos Cirrha Niva release their debut-CD 'The Mirror World Dimension' in February 1997 independently. Six months later a difference in musical interests leads to a line-up change with Jack Puijker leaving the band. He was replaced by Tommy White.
