Jacco Veenstra plays drums in As It Burns. He replaced initial drummer Jeroen Smit, who left the band in 1999 to rejoin as bass guitarist in 2001.



In January 2004 the band state on their web site:

"Due to serious illness, our drummer is unable to play. Michiel of Katafalk will be filling in for him during the next few months."
