Ilmari Issakainen joined the band Tenhi for the recording of "Hallavedet", though he was featured on bass guitar and Ilkka Salminen played drums.
On the album "Kauan" (1999) Salminen was accompanied by Ilmari Issakainen on percussion. Tenhi's next releases saw Ilmari Issakainen delivering all drums and percussion. He also plays in Harmaa.
Juho Ilmari Issakainen was born on May 6, 1979 in Helsinki, Finland. He started at age four with piano lessons, at age twelve with percussion lessons, and at age fourteen with guitar lessons. Issakainen received lessons from Tom Wikström (of Helsinki's Radio Symphony Orchestra).
Before Tenhi and Harmaa he played in Mother Depth. He also composed music for television and is working as a producer.
