Hosea "HeartBeat" Williams arrived on this planet November 27, 1972. Born and raised in Washington DC. As a youngster Heartbeat was influenced by his father Hosea Sr. who was a gospel lead vocalist. Being around musicians the majority of his childhood and family members who also were musically inclined, Heartbeat started singing at the very young age of 2 years old.
People started to notice his talent which lead him to debut on a local gospel radio station WUST at the age of five. Heartbeat, his brother Rick and his cousin Tink were put together and formed a group called "The Little Temptations" and they went on to win a host of talent shows up and down the east coast.
As the years went on, Heartbeat took an interest in the percussion. Realizing his talent, his parents bought him a pair of bongos for Christmas and from that moment, The Heartbeat legend was born.
Heartbeat was recruited by ECU, Class Band, Double Agent Rock, Hot Cold Sweat and Acre Raid. Heartbeat chose the Airier Raid Band becoming a significant part in taking the band to another level of performance along with local stars Teddy, Wop from the group "Wop and Em" and keyboardist Marcus Johnson from "The Marcus Johnson Project".
Heartbeat was then recruited by the legendary Godfather of Go Go, Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers. In 1992 Heartbeat left Chuck Brown and took his percussion and vocal skills to platinum recording artist "Rico Suave".
This Individual "HEARTBEAT" is truly in a class of his own. From writing, producing, lyrical content, vocal, teaching, artist development, creativity, running a blues, gospel and go go band, his own studio and presently performing with one of the biggest rock, hip hop acts in Europe, Dog Eat Dog.
