Haq 'Aky' Quereshi drummed in the original line up of Brittish act The Cult.
Starting onder the moniker of Southern Death Cult in 1982, Haq Quereshi made his recording debut with the band in December 1982. Despite some success, the group fell apart after a tour late 1983.
The band re-formed as Death Cult, but without Haq 'Aky' Quereshi: the drummer turned out to be replaced by Ray "The Reverend" Mondo.
