Gideon Weppner, also known as "Gidda", has played drums in Massive Assault since September 2004. Gideon replaced initial drummer Rob Koene who decided to quit due to a chronic injury. Koene's last show with Massive Assault was during the Occultfest 2004. During the second part of the show Gideon took over the place behind the kit.



Gideon Weppner departed Massive Assault in December 2006, but rejoined the group in 2009.



Previously Gideon drummed in Cerebral Tumor.



Gideon Weppner also handles the drums for Metallica tribute band Hammer of Justice
