Gerald Stütz is session drummer in musicals, big bands and jazz-trios, and has been playing with the Orchester des Staatstheaters Mainz since 1992.



Gerald Stütz studied percussion at the Peter-Cornelius Conservatory in Mainz and the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne. He received lessons from Charly Antolini and from Joe Morello in New York.



He is co-author of the book “Power Drums - The Way I Play” by Charly Antolini.
