Geoff Eckert drums in band called A Borrowed Life, featuring former members of the once-promising Sacramento-based "nu-metal" act Wurkt. Both Geoff Eckert and Josh Robinson (vocals) come from Wurkt. The band is rounded out by guitarist Drew Cianciolo and bassist Manny Howard.
