Gary Young was the original drummer in 1990s American indie-rock band Pavement. Their first EPs, 'Slay Tracks (1933-1969)', 'Demolition Plot J-7', and 'Perfect Sound Forever', were recorded at Gary Young's studio.
After the tour for Pavement's debut album 'Slanted & Enchanted', drummer Gary Young, the man responsible for much of the band's eccentric live behavior, was replaced by Steve West.
