Gary Moffatt plays drums in .38 Special. Since the release of their debut album in 1977, .38 Special has created a musical legacy that appeals to many generations. With gold and platinum albums, Top 10 hits, and sold-out stadium tours to their credit, 38 Special has broken the Southern Rock mold and established themselves as a classic American rock-and-roll band.
As the newest member of the band, Gary Moffatt has quickly gained the favor and admiration of the band's die-hard supporters. After attending Berklee College of Music, Gary has performed with a diverse range of artists including Angelo Janotti and Rule of Seven. He has also logged in countless hours as a studio musician for demos, jingles, commercials and television shows. When not on the road with .38 Special, Gary devotes his time to private instruction and special projects such as the Drum School instructional video which he is a featured performer.
