Frank Bloom has spent the better part of his life creating and performing music. A current job description depends on which day of the week it is for Frank. Educator, percussionist, drummer, composer, arranger, producer, drum tech, and sound engineer are his duties which vary from day to day.
Award winning high school drumlines and marching bands across the Carolinas, Georgia and Alabama have called on Frank's services as an instructor and arranger and designer since 1992.
Currently Frank Bloom instructs and coordinates the percussion section for North Lincoln High School and Pumpkin Center Middle School in Lincolnton, NC where his marching drumline and percussion ensembles have achieved multiple accolades and superior ratings consistently.
Frank also coordinates and performs in the Rhythm Cats, the performance drum team for the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats at every home game.
Whether as a guest artist or clinician, Frank Bloom enjoys a healthy schedule of on stage performances throughout the southeast. He has shared the stage with some of the most recognizable faces in the area such as Domingo "Sunny" Ortiz (Widepsread Panic) and Dr. Arvin Scott, Danielle Howle, Acoustic Syndicate, Barefoot Manner, Doug Jones (formerly of Cravin' Melon), Red Perspective, and the Backyard Green Cover Band.
