Francesco Jovino plays drums in Edge of Forever, the Italian concentration of 80's Hard Rock, filled with rousing melodies and neoclassical atmospheres.
He also joined U.D.O. (the German band led by former Aaccept frontman Udo Dirkschneider) as a session drummer in October 2004, replacing Lorenzo Milani during the European tour.
In January 2005 U.D.O. announced the addition of drummer Francesco Jovino to the group's ranks. Jovino joins the band as the permanent replacement for Lorenzo Milani, who left the group for "personal reasons," according to a posting on U.D.O.'s web site.
Francesco Jovino names the following artists as sources of musical inspiration: Malmsteen, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Rage, Def Leppard, Profondo Rosso, Suspiria and A Beautiful Mind.
