Filip Vinck played drums in Belgian gothic rockers Sengir since he had joined them in 1999. In 2003 the band decided to stop working with Vinck.
Gert Verbeeck (Carlos) filled in the gap behind the drum kit as a temporary replacement. With Verbeeck Sengir also headlined the "Female Voices" festival in Brussels, November 2003, which also featured Epica and Autumn.
After a long search for the right replacement, they finally found him early 2004: Bruno Goedhuys.
Previously to Sengir, in 1998, Filip Vinck played with Grindstone, (later to be renamed into Force of Change), and in 1997 he played with Hedgehog.
After leaving Sengir Filip Vinck showed up in classic rock band Beyond the Labyrinth, joining them in 2004. He was followed up by Bruno Goedhuys.
More recently Filip Vinck teamed up with guitarist Dave Varlet, forming Shellcase.
