"I started to make music in bands with friends (like many people), play concerts and have fun, but nowadays he would like to try to make my place between very good drummers."He received lessons from Jean Christophe Besnard at the conservatoire d’arts dramatiques in Chatou, from Jean-Marc Lajudie, Jean-luc Bernard and from Emmanuel Dugué at the Centre des Arts Vivants, Paris.
"I am always trying to translate this type of playing in lots of music styles. I also like bands such as bands like Coal Chamber for metal, Israel Vibration for reggae, DJ Krush for the trip-hop groove, and others…"No surprise Rault also plays with Kdb (Kazba Doum Beuh-fa, reggae) and Le Clou Tordu (rock & punk). Previously he played with Balbutiements (metal), $lum$ (hardcore) and Kazba (roots reggae).
"For the moment we’re mastering the maxi with my rock & roll’s band, and in september, I’ll record a reggae album for KDB (Kazba Doum Beuh-fa). What's more: the Kaizen tour is in preparation, so I'll be quite busy the rest of 2005."
