Eva Nahon played in Amsterdam stoner rock formation Beaver (sometimes spelled as 13eaver). Between 1989 and 1992 Eva co-founded the band.



Eva explains to Stoner Rock Rules (1998):

"The day I started drumming was when we started Beaver. I started with guitar first but that didn't quite become me, so drums. People warned me, think about poor Karen Carpenter!! But uhuh. I can safely say I'm a drummer and like good food, so no worries."

Since 1992 the line-up was stable enough to call Beaver a band. Despite quite some success (including several tours through Europe) Beaver quits in 2003.



In Monolith e-zine (2001) Eva names some of her favourite drummers:

"Dale Crover, of the Melvins. Worked for him a little while, and what an education that was! Dave Grohl. Saw him play in the band Scream, before he hit the big time. He's the one who made me go play drums. Because it looked like so much fun when he played the drums. Still does! Tony Williams. Listen to Lifetime records, I will say no more.

Greg Rodgers, from Goatsnake / Obsessed. He just blows my mind, great to see him play. Frank Beard, ZZ Top. Mitch Mitchel!!! Of course..."
