Eric Willie currently teaches at Murray State University in Murray, KY and freelances in the Nashville area. As a marching percussion specialist, Eric has served on faculty for the Madison Scouts, Southwind, and Carolina Crown drum and bugle corps, as well Music City Mystique and the North Texas Drumline.



Willie is a founding member of the Bain Percussion Group and the University of Kentucky Percussion Quartet. He has toured the Eastern United States presenting performances and master classes at schools and univerities, including the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, the Texas Association of Schools of Music, and the Bands of America National Percusion Festival.



Eric's primary teachers include James Campbell, Christopher Deane, Mark Ford, Paul Rennick, and David Steinquest. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Msical Arts degree at the University of North Texas, and holds his Master of Music degree from the university of Kentucky, and Bachelor of Scienc in Music Education from Austin Peay State University.
