Eric Stevenson was the drummer for Boston thrash metal band Formicide, starting in 1987. After releasing two demos, the group disbanded in 1989. He then became a founding member of Only Living Witness. After releasing demos, and two albums on Century Media Records, Eric Stevenson decided to leave in 1995 to pursue other musical interests.
Eric Stevenson played guitar in The Shods for a few months, and then in May of 1996, Eric formed the first version of Hank Crane. (Craig Silverman played bass on their first demo, which was never released.)
After solidifying a line-up the following year, Hank Crane released a 5-song cd, but split-up in May of 1998. September of 1999 Eric Stevenson released a solo cd entitled “Dead Horse Town". In 2001 some of his former bandmates and Eric began collaborating again on different projects, recording and performing a handful of shows (Two Sun System), as well as recording an unreleased LP (Milky Spores).
