Ed Trask. Perhaps you have already seen this rock solid drummer with his band of Richmond, VA punk rock stalwarts Avail.
Ed was born as Edward Jefferson Trask. Has been active in the Richmond art community for many years since graduating from V.C.U in 1992.
Ed Trask has painted over 30 murals in the city, and painted illegal murals on construction sights and boarded windows all over the world. He has shown paintings in 1708, Artspace, Eric Schindler, Corporate & museum frame and has opened the EGG SPACE Gallery.
Since 1992 he has toured the world with bands Holy Rollers, Kepone,and Avail. He has been featured in Style , 64, Punchline, Richmond magazine,
Time out (Amsterdam), Washington post, and was voted best Richmond artist by style magazine readers in 2000.
His work is in the permanent collection of Ducati International , Capitol One, Virginia Commonwealth University and St. Laurent inc.
