Donnie Highland plays drums in former "post-grunge alternative metal" artists Outspoken. In November 2004 Highland and his former band members Shaun Kennedy (guitar), Kevin McCreery (guitar) and Frank Green (bass) teamed up with singer Geo Teubl (ex-Bridge) in an as-yet-unnamed new band.
Teubl and the rest of the band met while on tour with Outspoken supporting their record "Bitter Shovel", which was released in February 2003. Personal problems between the members of Outspoken and their singer created a rift in the group's ranks and culminated in the band splitting up after their last show on Christmas 2003. Since the breakup, McCreery has toured with Tantric as a second guitarist and has recently taped a series of guitar instructional videos for Rock House Method. Teubl was frontman for the Detroit-based band Bridge for three years. The band released a CD, entitled "Blown Away", and toured nationwide before disbanding.
