Spartanburg-based drummer Donnie Rash has been involved in the Upstate music scene for more than two decades.
As a teenager, Donnie Rash drummed in such locally successful hard rock outfits as Juggernaut (1999-2007) and Whiskey Mountain Machine (2007-2011).
Donnie Rash's latest group is Shotgun Disciple, which is rounded out by Brent Webber on bass and fellow Whiskey Mountain Machine alumnus Keith Prince on vocals and guitar.
Donnie Rash began experimenting on drums at age 12 but didn't get his first kit until he was 15. He learned the basics of drumming on his own but expanded his knowledge several years later by taking lessons from Marshall Tucker Band co-founder Paul T. Riddle.
