Dennis Lesh joined doom metallers Trouble for their 1987's "Run To The Light" album. Initial Trouble drummer Jeff Olson quit in late 1985 entering the church.
When Trouble signed with Rick Rubin's Def American label for the eponymous album released in early 1990, the line-up consisted of ex-Zoetrope drummer Barry Stern. Dennis Lesh had departed, and soon after showed up in fellow Chicago Metal band Stygian for two EPs and an album.
Several years after Lesh joined Chastain and also featured in the offshoot project band Southern Gentlemen.
