Rezin (real name: Dean Davenport) originally began playing drums at the age of thirteen. His style and influences varies from industrial to metal.
Rezin started playing drums with country recording artist Wade White in 1992 then moved on to play with Blackland in 1993. In 1994 he moved to Dallas Texas and played locally with the band Sunroom whom later reformed as Opaque. Next Dean/Rezin joined the alternative band Hummer in Dallas from 1996-98.
Rezin joined his first industrial/electronic band in 1998 called System Machine, which included Shawn Lynch from Nocturne on bass guitar.
Shawn and Rezin relocated to California in 2000 to form the band Sick. Dean Davenport spent five years in Los angeles playing drums with Sick and recording his own music with George Lacava of Razed in Black.
While in Los Angeles Rezin also did studio work with Flesh For Eve as well as performed live with the electronic band Channel and Vestige. He returned to Dallas in 2005 and shortly after that joined the metal band Diesel.
In 2007 Dean Davenport/Rezin was asked to play for Idea Killer, a project of Society 1 guitarist Stephen Helmer and vocalist Marshall Beck (Rebirth, Reign Of Vengeance). Dean had also been playing drums with the band Ion (from 2008-2009), which was signed to Redskin Records.
