David Germain, also known as Dave The Knife or Dave The Germ, was the initial drummer of Shadows Fall. He was replaced by Derek Kerswill, who stayed only a short time until Jason Bittner took place behind the drum kit of Shadows Fall.



In 2002 Dave Germain joined punk/ska outfit Jaya The Cat.
