David MacDougall is a graduate of the University of Toronto jazz program, and is maintaining a busy professional career in Toronto. David currently performs and records with Stephanie Martin and Juno-winning producer Chad Irschick, Juno nominee George Meanwell, Donovan Woods, Andrew Austin, Greg Neufeld, Austin John, and many other groups.
David is an active member of Toronto's acclaimed jazz scene, and is a longtime member of the National Jazz Award-nominated Toronto Jazz Orchestra. He has led his own band in the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival and the Oakville Jazz Festival, and performs regularly with all kinds of groups.
