Dave Verner plays the drums for Badly Drawn Boy (real name: Damon Gough). He is not unknown in the Manchester music scene: previously Verner hit the skins in Easterhouse.



Formed in the mid-1980s, Easterhouse was actively promoted by Morrissey of the Smiths. Initially the band included Gary Rostock on drums. After Rostock departed, guitarist and bandleader Ivor Perry enlisted David Verner.
