Dave Sardy, more commonly known as D Sardy, is a Brooklyn born and raised multi-instrumentalist, record producer and studio engineer.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Sardy was active as a musician, most notably with his group Barkmarket. In addition to being the group's singer, songwriter and guitarist, Sardy also produced, recorded and mixed all their albums.
When Barkmarket disbanded in 1996, D Sardy continued his carreer as engineer and producer. As such he has worked with Donovan, Slayer, Rancid, Rolling Stones, Marilyn Manson, Johnny Cash, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Jet and Oasis, and Wolfmother among others.
Factoid: Dave played percussion on Wolfmother's debut album, and he played guitar on Frank Black's 1993 solo debut.
