A second generation drummer and a student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Dave Lewis is an amazing

young performer and drumming prospect. His teachers have included Walfredo Reyes Sr., Rod Morgenstein,

Mike Mangini, John Ramsay, Kenwood Dennard, Dave DiCenso, and his father, Michael Lewis (tabla player

with Zakir Hussain and the Rhythm Experience.)



Dave Lewis has performed and recorded with the bands Natural Tendency, First Circle, Clockwinder, Oaktown Jazz, and more.



Dave also recently participated in the Guitar Center Drum-Off competition, making it to the Eastern National Finals at the House of Blues in

Orlando.



He cites his influences as Steve Gadd, Carter Beauford, Dennis Chambers, Vinnie Colaiuta, his teachers, and his father.
