Dave Hamelin is drummer and songwriter in The Stills, a Canadian indie rock band. Formed in 2000 and hailing from Montreal, The Stills' sound has been compared to UK acts like Joy Division, The Smiths, and Echo and the Bunnymen.



In September 2005 Stills guitarist Greg Paquet parted ways with the band, which made Dave Hamelin switch to guitar and vocals. The band hired Colin Brooks as their new drummer.
