Dave "Acosta" Atkins is an Australian drummer, guitarist, bass player, producer, engineer & co-founder and Director Of Hydrofunk Records from Brisbane, Queensland.



Dave Atkins is currently performing with hip hop band Resin Dogs.



He was also playing with of Wolfmother, for whom he was confirmed as a member in February 2009, after initial skinsman Myles Heskett left in 2008. Dave Atkins left in April 2010 to spend more time with his family. He was replaced by Will Rockwell-Scott.
