Darrin Michael Pfeiffer isn't a smart man. Darrin Pfeiffer isn't even a good looking man. He really has nothing going for him except that he knows how to cook an amazing chicken cordon bleu... and he also plays drums like a freak in Goldfinger.
Darrin Pfeiffer's life was really tough growing up in the caves of Buffalo New York. Life was a constant struggle. Darrin spent most of his days hunting & gathering for his family of 13. Life in the bush of Buffalo was hard & treacherous and the family had little money for anything, but Darrin Pfeiffer managed to land a gig at the local newspaper as a tester of ink(s)....to see if they were poisonous to humans.
Darrin practiced everyday, moved to LA and helped form Goldfinger and the rest, as they say....is history.
Darrin Pfeiffer married Vicky Montgomery, the band's Canadian publicist, in 1997.
In 2001, the couple moved to Toronto, where Pfeiffer manages and produces several punk bands and began working as an on-air host for CFNY in 2005.
Darrin released two albums under the name Dangerous Darrin, only available at Goldfinger Shows and on his website: "The Revenge of Chicken McNuggets" and "The Artist Currently Known As Dangerous Darrin".
January 2006 saw Darrin Pfeiffer start his own label: High 4 Records.
