Daniel Banks as been playing big stages since the age of 10, pushing his way into performances with Shirley King (B.B. King’s daughter) in Chicago and sitting in with Paul Schaeffer and the CBS Orchestra on 'Late Show with David Letterman' at age 12.
At age 19, Daniel Banks leads his own group, the All-Star Band, which feature some of New England's fines musicians. Says Daniel: "I put together my All Star Band so I could play with some of the greats in New England. I didn’t want to play with the same members every week, so I invite different musicians for different gigs."
Daniel Banks’ experience to date has created a comfort zone where he can not only lead a band, but anchor it from the drum kit as well. Daniel:
"My drum teacher, Chris Rivelli, who has taught me since the age of 5, always instilled in me the importance of being the back bone of the band."
