Duluth, MN native Dane Schmidt was drummer in Sing It Loud until he departed in May 2008. Dane's heart was in other places so he decided to pursue other things in life that would not allow him to continue his position in Sing It Loud. Chris Lee was recruited as the group's drummer for their live shows.



Previously Dane Schmidt was frontman of acoustic rock outfit And Then I Turned Seven. The name turned out to be hard to market, so the group morphed into Jamestown Story.
