Dan W. Jensen played drums in Norwegeian extreme metallers MindGrinder.



Dan began playing drums when he was around five years old. The first metal band he ever listened to was Metallica, and then it went on from there to Slayer, Slipknot and the more faster stuff.



He has been a drummer in a few bands now since he began playing. But the bands have mainly consisted of the musicians he has always been playing with.



Autumn 2003 Dan Jensen was called up by Cosmocrator who had noticed his excellent drumming on a Psychopatus demo. He was asked to try out the drums for MindGrinder. After the first rehearsalsession there was no doubt in the MindGrinder camp, and he was given the job.



Jensen stayed until February 2005 when the group announced his departement. A posting on the group's web site stated:

"His leaving has a mutual understanding within the band and is from the given circumstances the best solution for Mindgrinder. At the same time we are proud to welcome Nex (Evilizer, ex-Disiplin) on board the MG-tank as a new permanent batterist!"

Dan Jensen gets his inspiration from a lot of different drummers in the metal genre: Nick Barker, Joey Jordison, Dave Lombardo, Paul Bostaph, Vinnie Paul, Raymond Herrera and Danny Carey.
