Dan Presland was drummer for Australian progressive extreme metal act Ne Obliviscaris from their early days in 2005, right up to and including the recording of 'Portal Of I' in 2011.
A difficult year in 2011, where the whole future of the band was in doubt with Benji stuck in France and no clear future in sight, took its toll on everyone, resulting in Dan Presland parting ways with the group.
Dan was followed up by Nelson Barnes of The Schoenberg Automaton but after six months, in August 2012, Dan Presland rejoined the group.
