Hailing from New York City, Curran Reynolds is currently drumming with Steve Austin's group Today Is The Day, and with Wetnurse. Curran was also touring drummer for Steve Austin's other band Taipan.
Curran Reynolds started when he was 10 years old, back in 1988: "I was living in rural Maine, out in the woods, with my mom and my sister. I got to be that age, around age 10, where I was getting really excited about music. At that time, I was into bands like Pink Floyd and Motley Crue, and I think I just really wanted to rock out. My mom recognized it and she bought me my first drum set when I was 10. It just went from there."
Curran Reynolds played in bands all through high school. Mostly in hardcore bands, imitating stuff that was going on in Boston and New York at that time.
At age 17, Curran moved to New York. He started a band called Wetnurse in 2001. They put out two records and toured around.
In 2010 vocalist/guitarist Steve Austin reached out to Curran Reynolds and asked him if he would join Today Is The Day. Recalls Curran: "I’ve just been a major fan for many years, so it was totally a dream come true when he asked me to play drums."
