Born into the world of the early eighties in Southern Germany, with the far too long a name of Carl-Michael Grabinger, Grabi has migrated North and is now based in the two cities of Lübeck and Berlin.

He travels the globe, not only as one of the most sought after live and studio drummers, but also as musical director in bands such as Jazzanova and Cassandra Steen. His playing is influenced by solid, laid-back grooves - as apposed to acrobatics. Modern drumming that always manages to finish with elegance and the necessary emphasis on leaving a lasting musical impression.
