Blackie Sanchez played drums in San Diego, CA female fronted epic power metal band Benedictum until October 2006, when Benedictum and Blackie Sanchez parted ways due to musical differences. The drummer was followed up by Paul Courtois.



The band was initially titled Bound. Benedictum's line-up is completed by powerhouse vocalist Veronica Freeman, guitarist Pete Wells, keyboardist Chris Morgan, and Jesse Wright on bass.
