Atte Sarkima is known as drummer in Ajattara and Verenpisara. In November 2005 Atte Sarkima teamed up again with former Stratovarius bassist Jari Kainulainen, vocalist Tommi "Tuple" Salmela (Tarot, Cardiant) and guitarist Elias Viljainen (E.Vil) in a new Finnish heavy metal band called Mess



Mess was originally formed in 2001 but went on hiatus the following year after Jari and Atte were unable to find the right singer for the project.
