The longest drumming marathon by an individual lasted for 84 hours and was achieved by Arulanantham Suresh Joachim, a Canadian of Sri Lankan Tamil ancestry, from February 1-4, 2004 at the Magic Factory, Zurich, Switzerland.



Arulanantham's world record was broken by American drummer Link Logen in June 2008.



Arulanantham Suresh Joachim has also broken many other world records, in an attempt to benefit the underprivileged children of the world.
